NEW POLLING LOCATION:  Beginning with the School Election on April 17, 2007 and continuing with all other elections, the new polling location for both District 1 and District 2 will be at the Chesterfield Fire House, 296 Bordentown-Chesterfield Road.  VOTING WILL NO LONGER TAKE PLACE AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING.

Chesterfield Township has two voting districts, with both districts voting at the Chesterfield Fire House.  Forms are available at the Township Clerks office for anyone wishing to register to vote.  You must meet the following requirements: 

  • You must be a citizen of the United States, eighteen years of age or older before the next election.
  • A resident of New Jersey and a resident of Chesterfield Township for thirty days.

As of October 2009, Chesterfield Township had 2,681 registered voters.
