Temporary Handicap Parking Permit
You may pick up a form to apply for a Temporary Handicap Parking Permit at the Police Department Office. You must fill out the left side of the form and your doctor needs to fill out the right side. When complete, please bring the form and a check in the amount of $4.00 made out to N.J. Motor Vehicle Commission to the Police Department during normal business hours. A Temporary Handicap Placard will then be issued to you that is valid for 6 months. You may renew this permit one time for an additional 6 months. After that you need to apply to Motor Vehicle Department for a permanent permit.If you have any questions, please contact the Police Department at (609) 291-0912 from 8 am to 3 pm.
